4 STEPS TO PERFECT STRINGING
Monitoring the actual tension
Know when to restring
WHAT IS DYNAMIC TENSION DT
DYNAMIC TENSION DT (DT-value) is the stiffness of the string bed (not to be confused with the tension in one single string). DYNAMIC TENSION DT
determines the playing characteristics POWER and CONTROL of any tennis
racquet. The proper combination of DYNAMIC TENSION and style of play is necessary to obtain maximum racquet and player performance.
Definition:
DT is ball power in kp (kilopond) required to deflect the string bed 1 cm at the
sweet spot (ball impact) international standard units kp/cm; Newton/mm.
DYNAMIC TENSION DT is measured automatically with the ERT 300 by electronic simulation of the ball impact.
DT is the only realistic and precise value that can be measured at the strung racquet. The DT-Disc (tension advisor) shows the string tension kp and lbs.
DO YOU ENJOY WINNING?
Then the ERT 300 tennis computer will be your best partner
- Determine your optimum racket stringing
- Ensure that your tournament rackets have the same DT and therefore
identical playing properties - Reliably determine when your racket needs to be restrung so that you can continue to build on your high level of performance
- Enjoy playing tennis without arm and back complaints
As you will know best, you need to be able to trust your own equipment on
the court. It is only when you are sure that you have the perfect tools that your
head is clear to think about the big points and that you can concentrate fully
on your opponent and the game.
Enjoy your victories!
